Family-run in Fyshwick Since 1997
Prestige Metal Works is a family-run metal fabrication business based in Fyshwick, and we've been trading in Canberra since 1997. Metal is all we do. Whether the job calls for general metal work, glass balustrades and fencing, custom flashings or precision cut components, it can all be made in the one workshop.
Our tradespeople bend, fold, weld and waterjet cut steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other materials to suit whatever you have in mind. Some jobs arrive as a full set of engineering drawings, others as a photo and a couple of measurements, and both are welcome. We'd rather ask questions up front than hand back something that doesn't fit, so expect a straight conversation about materials, finish, timing and cost before any metal is cut.
You'll also find us easy to deal with. Builders, architects, property managers and homeowners keep coming back because we answer the phone, keep them posted on progress and finish what we start.
Who We Are
We're a workshop of qualified fabricators, welders and sheet metal tradespeople working out of a well-equipped facility in Fyshwick. That mix of hands-on experience and up-to-date machinery is why so much of Canberra's metal fabrication work comes our way, and why we're comfortable quoting a one-off repair as readily as a multi-stage commercial fit-out.
Our work sits on residential homes, commercial buildings and public spaces throughout the ACT and nearby New South Wales, including projects for well-known local organisations. Every job is measured, fabricated and checked before it leaves the workshop, so what turns up on site is what was agreed.
